If you generate most of your electricity from solar panels, you're still connected to the grid for times when your panels aren't producing enough power. There may be fixed fees associated with this connection.

Yes, most systems are hooked up to work with the grid. At times when your system produces less, you'll use some electricity from the grid to ensure that you can continue to use power in your home.

In order to always have power in your home, you'll need to stay connected to the grid. This ensures that you have 3 pillars supporting your energy. Energy will first be taken from your solar panels, second from your battery, and lastly, if needed, from the grid.

It usually takes 1 day to install a full system. If our install crew runs into any issues that may make the install take longer, they'll let you know what they ran into as well as schedule a day to come back and finish any remaining work.

The size of the battery system required to power a whole home depends on the energy needs of the home, including the number of appliances, lighting, heating, cooling, and other electrical devices used. A larger home with high energy consumption will require a larger battery system to provide backup power. Most homes only backup the essentials like lights, appliances, and Wifi.
